Aquapark – ball in the pool, adventure in the castle by water Aquapark is a group of outdoor baths with the area of 30 ha. Each of the 13 pools is very popular here. Regardless of age everybody can find something for them. The most popular is the swimming pool with artificial waves. There is also a curative pool with bubbles, which is a perfect place for older people. Next to the boat hire service, on roof of wchich there is a sunbathing place designated only for women, is a 50 metre swimming pool. Next you will find smaller pools for paddling and a pool for learning swimming. Several steps behind them there is Omega swimming pool, next to which there is a slide with two tracks. A peculiarity is a pond with boats and water bikes. Having in mind the demand of families for water attractions the first complex of slides in Hungary has been built. There is a huge four tracks sldie, which is more than 10 metres high, two kinds of „kamikaze”, snail slide, „black hole” and „crazy river”. The complex is open from may to autumn. A new area called „Extreme Zone” has been recently built on the premises of the aquapark. There is for example a climbing wall, new big slides that are 16 metres high, water loops, superwaves, tsunami or a spaceship. While for children there has been build a new pool and three castles with bridges, towers and cannons. These castles will provide a lot of positive experiences and adventures for children. There is also the possibility of renting boats and water bieks, which are available by the lake next to the pool complex. For sports fans a special sports centre has been prepared. There are valleyball, football and foot tennis pitches, tennis court and ping-pong tables. On the premises there is also a nudist beach, where the enthusiasts of nakedness can feel at ease. Once a month there is a big ball on the premises of the swimming pool in Hajdúszoboszló. On this day tourists can have fun on the bottom of the biggest pool (of course the water is released). An attraction are Hungarian bands, local tibits, good wines and a firework demonstration. The complex of outdoor pools is open from May to September.
