Aqua Palace, which is located in the centre of Hajdúszoboszló, is composed of 15 thousand square metres of water fun. Recently opened (in March 2010) indoor baths is a part of the biggest swimming pool complex in Europe. It has been designed in mind with the people who desire a nice bathing place and unique wellness experience. Aqua Palace offers various types of baths: tropical, in ice cave, film watching, thermal, in a cave, in Roman baths, in Ganges, and also in sea water. Of course there are water slides and a playground for children. For feeding mothers there is a special room with a table to change babies. If you climb 12 metres you can use one from the various nine slides (also smaller ones for children), which total lenght is more than 1 km. A good windfall are two tracks for surfing on an artificial wave. Besides that in Aqua Palace you can use a sports swimming pool, sauna (infrared, steam and Finnish), gym, squash hall, beauty salon, solariums and a relaxing massage. On the premises of Aqua Palace there are numerous beauty salons, hairdressing salon and numerous gastronomic facilities. The complex is open all the year thanks to what you can use it both in summer and in winter, ever in bad weather. Tghe whole complex has been designed with both the adults and children in mind, thus it is a perfect place for a family holiday or a weekend trip. Each of the swimming pools has a different theme, so everybody can choose something for himself. On the premises you can hire an instructor, who will show you how to exercise in water properly. If you will get bored with water you can choose an active programme organized outside the swimming pool, play squash, table tennis or ride a stationary bike. These activities are organized for people of all ages.
